Maulana Azad Education Foundation - MAEF, a registered Society, is funded by Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, through a Corpus Fund which is kept intact / invested in Banks and onlyinterest income therefrom is to be used for its schemes
MAEF invites applications for providing Maulana Azad National Scholarship 2011 with the following criteria :
* Maulana Azad Education Foundation is providing Maulana Azad National Scholarship of Rs. 12,000/- each (6,000/- in XI & 6,000/- in XII) to meritorious girl students belonging to National minorities (ie. Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist and Parsi) who have passed Class - X in 2011 with minimum qualifying marks of 55% and have taken regular admission in Class 11th and whose parent's annual total income is less than Rs. 1.00 lakh. * New MAEF Scholarship 2011 application forms, state wise quota, list of last year's Scholarship holders as well as further details terms & conditions are available on the MAEF website www.maef.nic.infrom which the MAEF Scholarship application form can be downloaded free of cost. The MAEF Scholarship application forms are also available free of cost in the office of the Foundation at New Delhias well as with State Government. Photocopy of the forms can be used freely. * Duly filled in application for MAEF Scholarship 2011 alongwith necessary enclosures should be sent directly by Post / Courier / Submitted in person to the mentioned : The Secretary, Maulana Azad Education Foundation,Social Justice Service Centre,

* The application of MAEF Scholarship 2011 must be received in the office of the Foundation by 31st August, 2011.Incomplete application forms as well as those received after due date would be rejected summarily.
* Scholarship is strictly based on the marks obtained in 10th Class and the quota fixed for each state based on minority population. No recommendation from State / any other authority is required.
* Scholarship amount is directly sent to the successful applicant by bank transfer / Cheque. * There is no fees / charges for either application form or for any other service in this regard. Nothing is to be paid to anyone. * No other scholarship or financial assistance is given by MAEF to students of any other class except as mentioned above. * The Maulana Azad Education Foundation has no branch or authorised offices / agency anywhere inIndia for this purpose.
